The Scythe is a sudden stroke: accident, surgery, a decisive breakup, a snapped contract, or a harvest taken in one sweep. Classically the blade's tip shows which card takes the hit. Fast and hard to reverse. Neighbors decide trauma versus timely decision: Coffin or Mountain deepen wound; Sun or Key can mean necessary surgery or cutting losses.
