House
8th House: House of the Coffin (Ending & Stagnation)
Card meaning
The Coffin marks endings, vacancy, and necessary release: a relationship finished, a role left, a room cleared, or energy sunk low. Classically it also links to illness, yet the core is a life-cycle closing. In spreads it cuts what came before and makes room for what follows. Stork or Child hint renewal; Mice or Mountain make the ending heavy. Nearness: beside the significator, the querent lives the goodbye; farther out, the ending is peripheral. Cards after the Coffin show what comes next—do not stop at fear-only readings.
Love
Breakups, final cold wars, or obsolete patterns may arrive. Grieve, then leave the empty room—do not haunt it.
Career & money
Projects wrap, jobs end, lines shut down, or losses must be cut. Stop the bleed and clear inventory before expanding.
Daily guidance
Favor endings and decluttering; if the body is tired, rest before opening new fronts.
Reading tip
Cards after the Coffin show “what comes after death”; fear-only readings miss the transformation.
